The Wren 60
Built for my friend and musical compatriot KH; using Tonerider TRS3 Classic Blues pickups, a Wilkinson heavy bridge and Hipshot locking tuners. He has always liked plain ash bodied Strats and I thought a seventies style larger headstock fitted the look well. The guitar has both gritty bite and smooth bell tones from the neck pickup.

The Raven Deluxe
The Raven was my take on a Deluxe Telecaster. I chose a Telecaster style neck rather than the traditional Strat neck. A big thank you to Allan Price of Catswhisker Pickups who built me the pair of Widerange humbucker. As a note of comparison my friend has an original early seventies Telecaster Custom with a neck Wide range humbucker and the Catswhisker lose nothing to the Fender originals. Again I used the superlative Hipshot Locking tuners. I think the ‘barn-find’ finish looks even cooler in the flesh.
